SLR Rifleworks ION series of Free Floated Handgaurds design to fit  AKM (Saiga, Romanian, Bulgerian etc) with stamped recieves - no mods.
 
Standard handgaurds, the clamp directly on to the barrel upsetting barrel harmonics and reduce accuracy. The SLR is completely free floated.
