B-30U RAIL

"B-30U" handguard rail is designed for AK 103, 104, 105, 74M, 74S, AKMS, AKM and rifles based on them. Only for AKs with stamped recievers! Not compatible with AKs with milled recievers.

"B-30U handguard" has a Picatinny rail on the bottom and small Picatinny rail on side. Has Basis rails on sides. Basis rail is designed for lightening of handguard and attachment of additional accessories: side Picatinny rails (B-2, B-2L, B-2U, B-2M); slingmounts (A-1L, A-2L); RL-1 hand stoppers; grips (RK-0, RK-1, RK-2, RK-4, RK-6); NPN-2 Basis rail covers. B-30U requires 4 pcs. of NPN-2 to cover the Basis rail.

Compatible with B-31, B-31S and B-31N upper handguards. B-31 is only for AK with long barrel (415 mm).

How to install?
 
Perform an incomplete disassambly of your rifle.
Place "B-30U handguard" rail on the position of the regular handguard.
Place the handguard retainer in a position so that the slingmount goes through the opening on B-30U.
Take a hammer and a spacer. Hit the handguard retainer through the spacer. Do not hit the handguard directly. Do not file the handguard.
